I have at last, found a new venue for my classes. The lovely Sally from Threads & Patches in Bletchley is allowing me to use her upstairs classroom, which is perfect for my needs. All classes are to be paid in full at the time of booking. If you are unable to attend a class there will be a £5.00 cancellation fee deducted from any refund. 1. Shabby Concertina Book £45.00

13th February 2016

In this class we will be using a selection of beautiful botanical images from PaperArtsy to create a stylish concertina book. You will have the opportunity to select your own colour palette from the Fresco Finish range of paints and I will show you how to paint those detailed images with the aid of glazes. Your book will be embellished throughout with lots of texture and I will show you how to create some simple fabric flowers to add that three dimensional touch to the front cover.

Items to bring – Scissors, small detail paintbrush and lunch. Everything else will be provided for you, including refreshments throughout the day. any special embellishments that you would like to include in your project and lunch.

 

2. Gelli Plate Meets Handmade Stamps £95.00

12th & 13th March 2016 (This is a two day class)

10.30am – 4.30pm

 

In this  fun packed, two day class, we will create two projects. I will show you how to make your own handmade stamps using inexpensive products. After using these stamps to create designs on fabric that you will prepare on a Gelli Plate, we will then mount them on a board to feature in another project. Your fabric project will be enhanced by the application of a few small detailed images using TAP paper as well as some embroidery. You will have the opportunity to select your own colour palette to create both projects. The fabric project could be used either to decorate your home or as a fabric book cover.

Items to bring – Scissors, Gelli plate if you have one and lunch. Everything else will be provided including refreshments throughout the day.

 

3. Rusty Stuff  £95.00

16th & 17th April 2016 (This is a two day Class)

10.30am – 4.30pm

 

There will be a lot of techniques packed into this two day class. Day one will be spent rusting fabric and creating embossed copper embellishments. Day two will be spent assembling our rusty fabrics and metal pieces together to create a beautiful collage.

Items to bring – Scissors, thimble and lunch, everything else will be provided, including refreshments throughout the day.

 

4. Lynne Perrella Collage £45.00

4th June 2016

10.30am – 4.30pm

 

If you fancy a day creating a collage to be proud of, then why not join me to learn some of the techniques I use to create amazing texture. This elegant project will be built upon a canvas board using lots of my favourite products. We will be using Fresco Finish paint and Crackle Glaze to create a shabby centrepiece which will feature some of the gorgeous images from the Lynne Perrella range of stamps from PaperArtsy. As usual, you will of course be able to select your own colour palette and images to create a beautiful and elegant piece of art that you will be proud to display in your home.

Items to bring: Scissors, small detail paintbrush and lunch. Everything else will be supplied, including refreshments throughout the day.
